Children’s Health Fund (CHF) works with major corporations, foundations and government agencies to create cooperative alliances that bring together participants’ strengths and experience. Together these organizations create a unified voice for children under the umbrella of Children’s Health Fund’s Corporate Council for America’s Children.
With the leadership of U.S. Senator John D. Rockefeller IV (D-WV), David Pulman, PhD, President, Global Manufacturing & Supply of GlaxoSmithKline and Irwin Redlener, MD, the Corporate Council meets to discuss health reform, legislation and other issues that impact children. Council members provide ongoing financial support to sustain and expand CHF's affiliated programs and special initiatives.
By joining the Corporate Council, participating companies may designate up to two Delegates, typically the CEO or President and another senior executive, who are invited to participate in the Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C., as well as other high-level policy events sponsored by CHF. Council members are listed on CHF’s letterhead, Gala invitations, other printed materials, and on its website. Furthermore, each contribution level entitles the corporate members to a variety of partnership recognition opportunities, including sponsorship of special events, designated child health programs and/or cause-marketing campaigns.
